Inspired by the Paratheywali gali in Old Delhi, Paratha Junction will be the second restaurant of its kind in the tri state area specializing in breads from the South Asian region. The partners of Paratha Junction hail from different parts of India, thus bringing together UNITY IN DIVERSITY in its true form. Paratha Junction is recognized for its simple, authentic and flavorful Indian food. Located on Route 27 in Franklin Park, and 779 Newark Avenue in Jersey City (aka Indian Row’s), Paratha Junction is the ultimate Indian food destination with neighborhood-friendly prices.
One of Paratha’s partners, Ajit, a software Engineer by profession, grew up in London in a Punjabi family and moved to New York City about 15 years ago. He felt the absence of a good curry house in NYC which led to the Bricklane Curry House and now Paratha Junction, which fulfils his craving for a good old home style paratha, makki di roti and sarson da saag.
The décor at Paratha Junction is as unique as the menu. The dining area has walls painted with real curry and turmeric, which creates a soft orange and yellow hue. The entire space feels warm and quaint, yet vibrant. The solid wood tables and simple light fixtures illuminate the space just enough to create an ambient warmth and richness that makes everybody feel at home. Should have read the reviews before ordering. Its been 2 hours since I ordered and my food is not yet here. Promising 60 min delivery and taking 2 hours is ridiculous. Never again! Lots of better choices in the area.

Horrilbe restaurant. Called them 3 hours after order regarding food not showing up although they said it is on the way food never showed up.

The food was great, but the delivery time and delivery guy was very obnoxious. The food was delivered after 2 hours instead of the 45-60 min timeframe specified.

The food is alright! nothing special....but they take forever to deliver! It takes beyond an hour each time I order. If you want something quick, this place is definitely not for you! I have tried most of their dishes and I like their vegetarian the best. The other good thing is that the cost of the food is reasonable. If you want to wait for a long time, then definitely order from here.

I like the food from this place, but the delivery service sucks!!!! Its been 2 hrs since I placed my order and the delivery guy has called me twice saying it will be just 10 mins... to the Parantha Junction guys - if you cannot maintain good delivery service then just don't have it...don't lie and say it will be just 10 mins and make people wait...

The parathas were excellent, but the malai kofta and paneer makhni were extremely bland. The kati roll would have been okay except for the lettuce. If you are going to order it, consider asking for it without lettuce. I don't think I would order their main dishes again.

The place has some good Non- Vegeterian dishes. Never order food during the weekends ( Specially around 9 pm, because the chances of food reaching late is more ). Overall, a good place to order your food. They have very good Lunch Menu ( Highly Recommended).

Food is very good, especially the paratha. However, there are some delivery issue (fairly regularly late), however when I called the woman I spoke to politely told me how long the delivery would be and then called back to let me know it would be sooner than she initially stated. Food arrived warm and as ordered.

food came in 2 hours after the order. When I called to cancel the order, before it arrived, the lady on the phone kept arguing with me that we have 8 minutes before it is hour and a half delivery time. So I waited, 8 minutes, called back. There was no apology at all, just arguing. From Newark ave, to St Pauls, it is about 5 minutes walk. Really? 2 hours? Never ordering again.

It took twice as long for them to deliver as the estimate indicated, we called twice and each time they told us "it'll be there in 5 minutes" 40 minutes later it's still not arrived.

Food was excellent but delivery took 90+ minutes. took 1 star off just for that - i called them at 60 min mark - was told that food was out for delivery, called then at the 90 min mark was told the same thing which really ticked me off and the person answering the phone was asking me "who told u that at the 60 min mark? i was like i'm not checking which rep i'm speaking to at any given time - all i care is that it's been 90+ plus and i have no food. The silver lining was that the delivery guy was apologetic and explained that there was a problem with one of the other delivery guys ! thats all i needed - a straight answer. The food was nice and hot which also helped :-)

Waited for order for 2.5 hours. When it arrived the containers were a mess, everything was soaked and disgusting. As a bonus there were no forks. Will never order from again.

Extremely bad service...not courteous at all. I cancelled the order within a few minutes of placing the order and even then, the manager showed up at my door and started YELLING "WHO WILL PAY FOR THIS?"

I ordered my food, called after 25 mins and was told it would be there in the next 20 mins. I waited and got busy with work, but they never delivered even after 2 hours of waiting. Eventually I called and cancelled the order. Unfortunately, not sure if they called Seamlessweb to reflect this cancellation or not. But I'd say, if you are in Exchange Place, these guys seem to far to deliver on time or deliver at all.

Most horrible paranthas ever...took one hour to reach despite saying 30-45 minutes, paranthas were undercooked, about half inch thick with too little stuffing inside. The chutney on the side was watery. Shame in the name of paranthas. Avoid at all cost...
